Vomiting after surgical operation

Adhesions, short distances between anastomoses or false valves in anastomoses can also occur after surgeries especially in the upper gastrointestinal tract (stomach, pancreas, liver, duodenum). In these patients, although all examinations (endoscopy, medicated films) are normal, the cause of vomiting and weakness may not be understood due to these reasons. Patients may sometimes be referred to the psychiatry department.
